How to Score Your Website’s SEO in 10 Minutes or Less

Many digital marketers know a lot of details about SEO, but they have trouble with the big picture.

One of the most important skills you can develop is getting a quick snapshot of a website’s SEO. All it takes is ten minutes. And you don’t need any expensive tools.

You can use this step-by-step process to determine your own website’s health, to find out how your competitors are doing, and to discover what needs to be done to improve your SEO.

What I’m going to show you here is a broad overview process. This doesn’t get into the nitty-gritty of a full SEO analysis, nor does it explore offsite SEO in a detailed way. The goal is quick-and-dirty pulse-taking. Here’s the process:

Step 1:  Find out the domain authority.
Step 2:  Determine the site load time.
Step 3:  Check for a sitemap.
Step 4:  Check the robots.txt.
Step 5:  Check for meta content.
Step 6:  Check for H-tags.
Step 7:  Check for onsite content.
Step 8:  Test keywords.

How to Force the Browser to Remember the Username and Password

When you enter your username and password to log into a website, Google Chrome will prompt you to remember the password. If you accept, Chrome saves the password internally and the next time you open that site, it will auto-fill the username and password fields for you.

The password-saving feature is available in all modern browsers but some websites, maybe for security reasons, disable this option for their login forms. For instance, the PayPal website doesn’t allow the browser to remember your password and thus you are forced to enter the password every time you open PayPal. Some banks websites do that as well.

Use the Remember Password extension for Chrome and it will force the browser to remember passwords even if the site has disabled the option.

3. Use One Email Address with Multiple Twitter Accounts
4. How to Check Multiple Email Addresses for New Mail At Once
5. Decide Between @yahoo.com or @gmail.com Email Address

How to Check if an Email Address is Valid and Exists or not? The easy option would be that you send a dummy mail to that email address, wait for an hour or so and if your message bounces, it is very likely that the particular email address does not exist. The approach works but wouldn’t it be nice if you could check any email address instantly without even sending that test message?

The other slightly technical option to verify an email address is by querying the mail server. You connect to the mail server through telnet, enter your email address and the other email address that you are trying to verify. If the server response is an error code, the email address is probably not valid.
